What it is:  File storage and collaboration site.

How it works:  A place to store, share, and collaborate on many file types (word, excel, powerpoints, pdf). Can sync to your computer or mobile device to keep versions current and the same. Multiple people can comment and make changes -- but these are tracked so you can return to an earlier version. Can also set timelines and schedules for tasks and reviews. 

How it might be used in education:  There are obvious research and writing uses -- especially with co-authoring. Similar applications could be useful in the classroom. This makes peer editing easy.

Pros:  Not language-specific. Content can be edited/expanded by authorized individuals. Available on many platforms (iPhone, iPad, Android, other mobile apps). Basic level of service is free.

Cons:   Security controls, storage, and file size are limited in free version.
