What it is: Words that stick.
How it works: Create a page where people can place sticky notes to the page (or wall). The page can be moderated and edited for content by the owner of the page.
How it might be used in education: In a course where current events and pop culture can be used as an example of a concept could use this page. The teacher could use this to have students post examples that are relevant to them. For example, when teaching the concept of "subculture" (a group that uses material or nonmaterial culture -- including language, values, ideas -- differently from the parent culture) there are a lot of potential examples. However, the example that the professor, whom is most likely of a different generation from the student, may not be relevant to the student. On this page, students could post current examples and explain them (i.e. Jersey Shore, furries, Twihards).
Pros: Not language-specific. Content can be edited/expanded by authorized individuals. Basic level of service is free.
Cons: Is in Beta. In playing with the website, it crashed many times.
